Stone’s first single from his upcoming debut album is a catchy pop/funk tune titled “Misery”, showcasing his knack for songwriting and unique vocal style and range. Think Bruno Mars meets Nile Rodgers.

In his own words, Vic says, “As an artist I want to write songs that people resonate and associate with a specific moment or person in their lives. That’s the mark of a great song.”

Vic Stone is a New York based, Australian musician, singer/song writer and multi-instrumentalist. It was during his early high school years that he began teaching himself guitar and developing an appreciation for the vocal and performance styles of his idols such as James Brown, Prince and Robert Plant.

Since moving to New York in 2013, Vic has been working on developing his own sound, writing and recording his own material and collaborating with local N.Y artists. His collaborations extended beyond the borders of the U.S. and stretch back to his home in Melbourne, to local Funk & Rock artist Harts. Having worked together previously, Harts now features as a writer, mixer & producer on Stone’s upcoming debut album, due out at the end of May.
